Mrs. Bunny Davidson of Howe Street, Sydney, NS, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her adoring children, Howard Davidson, Carol Ann Davidson and Gail Prince, on Friday, July 17, 2009.
Bunny was predeceased by her parents, Pearl and Louis Gaum; loving husband, Dr. Harold Davidson; brothers, Dr. Abe (Rita) Gaum, Mr. Percy ‘Pinky’ (Hannah) Gaum, Dr. David Gaum and Dr. Cyril (Esther) Gaum; brother-in-law, Mr. Mendel Chernin, as well as her sisters, Miss Bella Gaum and Mrs. Libby (Harry) Brenner.
Bunny is survived by her sister, Mrs. Etta Chernin. Mom will be deeply missed by her daughter-in-law, Heather Davidson; son-in-law, Irwin Prince, as well as her five grandchildren, Larry (Erin) Davidson, Steven (Marnie) Davidson, Joanna Davidson and Jacqueline and Jason Prince, also by her four great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Judah, Morgan and Harris Davidson. Aunt Bunny will be missed by Winston (Gail) Gaum, Tommy (Rhona) Gaum, Gwen Gaum, Martin (Gail) Chernin, Daniel Chernin and Judy (Arnold) Budovitch.
Funeral services will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Sunday, July 19 at 3 p.m. Following the service, burial will take place at the Hebrew Cemetery on Lingan Road.
