Passed peacefully away on July 17, 2009, following a short illness, Elizabeth Samson, born May 12, 1937. Leaving to mourn her husband of 52 years, Reginald Charles Samson; her children: Linda Callahan (Bill), Jean Samson, Christine Samson (Ivan), Brenda McCormick (Steve), Reginald Samson (Sherry), Renee Samson (Mike) and Rodney Samson (Jennifer); eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her mother, Ethel Griffin of Texas; brother-in-law, Harold Samson; as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Funeral Service 2 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2009, from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel. Cremation to follow.
