Passed peacefully away at her residence in the arms of her loving husband on Friday, July 17th, 2009. Ellen (Nellie) Skirving. Leaving to mourn with fond and cherished memories her devoted husband of 54 years Doug; son: Paul (Louise); daughters: Suzanne (Jim Dyke), Kathy (Larry Cahill), Carolyn (Bill Kieley), Judy (Howard Murphy) and Heather (Steve Moores); grandchildren: Mary, Douglas and Peter Skirving, Andrew, Sarah, Steven and Sean Dyke, Nancy and Geoff Cahill, Mark, Erin, Laura and Liam Kieley, Allison Murphy, Leah and Patrick Moores; brothers: Jim Donovan (Lottie) and Bill Donovan (Molly); sisters: Dorothea and Anne; brother-in-law: Ron Skirving (Joan); sisters-in-law: Thelma Wiscombe and Irene Donovan as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, July 20th, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
