Passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on July 12, 2009, Elsie Thornhill of Gander, age 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Max, July 2008; sister, Violet; brother, Issac; sisters-in-law: Muriel Saunders, Audrey Saunders and Rhoda Saunders. Left with fond and loving memories are her brother, Hedley of Corner Brook; brother-in-law, Lloyd Thornhill (Patsy) of St. John’s; as well as 24 nieces and nephews and 43 grand-nieces and nephews; special friend Abbie Adams. Also a large circle of other family members and friends. Funeral Service was held Wednesday, July 15, at 2:00 p.m. from Fraser Road United Church, Gander. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
