It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our sister and aunt Jean Penny Scott, 60, resident of Peppett Street, North Sydney, on Saturday, July 18, 2009, at her residence.
Born in North Sydney, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Leona (LeMoine) Scott.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church. Jean was a kind hearted person who lived a very quiet life, she loved to read.
Surviving are her eight sisters, Lillian Marsh, Gertrude Kelly, Mary Scott, Edith Parker, Janet Rogers, Madeline Thorne, Maureen Scott, Deborah Scott; three brothers, Raymond, Fred and Dennis Scott; stepsister, Freda; special goddaughter and niece, Chelsea Parker; also surviving are several nieces and nephews and good friends, Nelson and Joanne Scott.
She was predeceased by brothers, George and Thomas Scott, an infant brother, Stanley, and a number of nieces and nephews.
No visitation by request. A private family service will be held for Jean.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
