
Brendan Curley
The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, surrounded by the love of family and friends, of Arthur Brendan Curley of Charlottetown after a brave journey with pancreatic cancer.
Born at home in Brudenell on February 4, 1956, he was the son of the late Richard and Frances (Cullen) Curley. He was a graduate of Montague Regional High School, Acadia University and Dalhousie Law School.
Beloved husband of Shauna (Sullivan) and loving father of Sean and Garrett. Also survived by brothers and sisters, Brian (Veronica), Georgetown; Isabelle Christian (Gerard), Stratford; Patrick (Freda), Regina, SK; Philip (Georgie), Alliston; Kevin (Wanda), Brooklyn; Rosemary, Stratford; Dennis (Karin Fryday), Tiverton, ON; Kate, Stratford; Terry (Jane), Ottawa, ON; Dorothy (Gene MacDonald), Ottawa, ON, and Monticello; sisters-in-law, Lyn Sullivan, Lethbridge, AB; Janet Sullivan, Sydney River, N.S.; Florie Sullivan (Ron MacDonald), Sydney, N.S.; and brother-in-law, Allan Sullivan (Stephanie), Timberlea, N.S.
Predeceased by brothers, John and Austin; nephew, Joseph; niece, Kathleen; and parents-in-law, Allan and Dawn Sullivan.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Saturday at 9:45, then to The Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial donations may be made to the Dorothy Cullen Prize Fund at the University of Prince Edward Island, the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre or the Hospice Palliative Care Association.
