Lucy McQuade
At Hotel-Dieu of Saint Joseph Hospital, Perth-Andover, March 15, 2011, Mrs. Lucy McQuade of Medford passed away at the age of 76 years. She was the wife of Ohmer McQuade for the past 59 years. Born at Abraham’s Village, PEI, in 1934, she was a daughter of the late Sylvain and Delima (Arseneault) Gallant. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Alvin of Slave Lake, Alberta, Gary (Diane) of Medford and Terry of Alberta, three daughters, Linda (Jocelyn) Pelletier of Saint John, Judy McQuade (Merv) of Marwayne, Alberta and Janet McQuade (Robert) of Saint John, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, sisters and brothers, Clara Arseneau of Saint John, Clarice Raymond McNulty of Kitchener, Ontario, Joseph Gallant (Virginia) and Leo Gallant (Ruth Anne) of Saint John, Fred Gallant (Reinna) of Sussex and Eileen (Bill Lamb) of Saint John, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant son, Gary.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Her funeral service will be held Saturday, March 19th at 11 a.m. from Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Tilley with Father Gilbert Doddatto officiating.
