Passed peacefully away at her residence on March 16, 2011 in her ninety second year, Violet Marie Smith. Predeceased by her loving husband Arthur, also predeceased by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. Leaving to mourn with precious memories son Harold (Jackie) and two cherished granddaughters, Lesleigh and Jennifer. Violet was a long standing member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of the Deaf. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, March 17th and Friday, March 18th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel.
