Of St. John’s passed peacefully away on Wednesday, March 16th, 2011 at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex, one week shy of his 84th birthday. Predeceased by his parents Clovis Joseph and Esther Lake; son Barry; sisters Gertrude, May, Rita, Frances; brothers Norman and Fred. Leaving to mourn his wife Lillian; children Deborah (Greg) Quilty, Joe (Jenny), Frances “Dusty” (John) Anstey, Lisa (John) Dicks, Harry (Margie), Fred (Bev), Norman, Frank (Lisa), Herb (Kim), Darrell (Nikka); grandchildren Gregory, Joseph, Amy Jo, Joshua, Heidi, Colin, Holly, Aaron, Justine, Jonathon, Special granddaughter Nicole, Lisa Leanne, Harry, Mason, Karla, Richard, Mandy, Fred, Jackie, Megan, Ryan, Samantha, Mitchell; nine great grandchildren; sisters Esther McCarthy and Sadie Blundon, both of Ontario; sister-in-law Agnes Pearce and brother-in-law Kevin (Dorothy) Cousens; and special nephew Norman Lake. Visitation on Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. - 4 pm. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Teresa’s Church on Saturday, March 19th, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
