
Angus MacKinnon (Cdn. Forces Sgt-Ret'd)
Passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at the age of 75 years. Angus MacKinnon of Petawawa, ON, and formerly of Point Prim, P.E.I., dearly beloved husband of 45 years to Dianne MacKinnon (nee Cobham), formerly of Saint John, N.B.
Survived by three children: Lori Ann Jones, Victoria, B.C.; Katherine MacKinnon, Petawawa; and Mark MacKinnon (Karen McLarney), Guelph, ON; and six grandchildren: Erik MacKinnon, Vancouver, B.C., and Samantha Jones, Cold Lake, AB; Sarah and Jacob MacKinnon, Petawawa; and William MacKinnon and Robert McLarney, Guelph. Also survived by two brothers: John and Neil (Wilma), Point Prim, P.E.I.; two sisters: Florence Kelly (Blair), Stratford, P.E.I., and Evelyn Large (Lowell), Point Prim, P.E.I.; brother-in-law, Allan Cobham (Pamela), Toronto, ON; and four sisters-in-law: Nancy Larouche (Yvon), Shipshaw, PQ; Christina Leblanc (Arthur), Oromocto, N.B.; Heather Chaplin (Dean), Eastern Passage, N.S.; and Anne-Marie Vail (Rob), Saint John, N.B.; as well as many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Donald and Lavinia MacKinnon (nee Bishop).
Respecting Angus' wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday, March 20, 2011, from 2 p.m. until the memorial service in the Chapel at 4 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.)
