It is with heavy hearts and no cure near we say goodbye to our loved one Roy Kenneth Coates on March 18, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Born on June 26, 1949 he was the son of the late Shirley Fudge and Harold Coates. He enjoyed time with family and friends and his homemakers, Helen and Ron. Loved ones who will remember him forever include his loving wife, Susan Duplessie; sisters, Madonna Garnett (Roly) of Saint John; Doris McGraph (Steve) of Saint John; Linda Lutes (Mike) of Norton, NB and Rose Bourque (Bob) of Saint John; brother, James Babineau of Yukon; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his only and very much loved son, Kenneth Coates and brother, Harry Babineau.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
