It is with deep sadness and regret our family announces the sudden passing of Kyle Scott Elliott born March 24, 1987, due to an industrial workplace accident.
Born in Truro, Kyle attended and graduated from South Colchester High School. Kyle was a true daredevil at heart and his passion in life was motocross. He started riding at eight years of age and recently contended competitively at the professional level, in the pro class. Although Motocross was Kyle's true passion, he was competitive in any sport he tried. Kyle was well liked by all whose lives he touched. Full of life, he was known to always have a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye.
Notorious in the Motocross community as a jokester, last year, for the final race, Kyle came suited and raced in a sumo wrestling costume, which received quite a laugh and became a fond memory for many.
Kyle is survived by his mother, Patricia, Brentwood; his father, Dale, Edmonton; brother, Shane (Mareshah), Middle Musquodoboit; sister, Jenna, Brentwood; paternal grandmother, Enid, Stellerton, formally of Truro; as well as several loving aunts, uncles, cousins; his nephew, Hunter, niece, Autumn; and special friend, Nikki Josey, Charlottetown. Though Kyle was only with us a short time and taken much too soon, his kind nature, determination, and never-give-up mind-set will live on through his memory.
