
Graydon Martin
1926 - 2011 - Graydon Willis Martin, 84, of Riverview and formerly of Alma passed away peacefully on March 18th,2011 at the Moncton Hospital. Graydon was born in Alma on July 26, 1926 the son of the late Norval and Etta (Seely) Martin. He served in the Canadian Air Force as a radar technician for 27 years. Graydon was an avid reader, particularly of history, and enjoyed classic movies. He is survived by his wife, Mrya and his children Janet Moore (Michael) of California, Mark (Jackie) of Ontario,Timothy (Louise) of Moncton; Maizie, the mother of his children; stepchildren Donna (John), Ramona (Reg), Parker (Verna), Grant (Phyllis), Barb (Hugh), Brenda (David), Chris (Tina); several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister Betty Shaffer of Hillsborough. Besides his parents he was predeceased by daughters, Laverne and Virginia, infant son Paul, stepdaughter Golda, stepgrandson Shawn and sister Wilma (Ottis) Burns of Riverview. Graydon will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 20th, 2011 from 7 to 9 at the funeral home and a memorial service will be held with reception to follow at the Albert County Funeral Home on March 21st, 2011 at 2 pm with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. Interment will be in the Alma United Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Cancer Society, or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
