Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex on Saturday, July 18, 2009 aged 74 years. Predeceased by her husband Alexander, mother Gertrude, father James and brother Billy. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children, Robin (Regina), Lillian Fitzgerald, Doug, Joanne (Pat Dejonge), and Renee (Dean Lawlor); grandchildren Krista, Dennis, Susan, Kim, Doug Jr., Alexandra, Zoe, Kurtis, Zachary and Nathan; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, James Jr. (Beth), Nora (Eric), Bridget (Cyril - deceased) Patrick, Joan (Marshall - deceased) Edward Jr. (Muriel) Benedict (Carol) and Richard (Anne); sister-in-law Bernice Clarke, special friends Margaret Finn and Mary Furlong, residing at Escasoni as well as a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday July 20 and Tuesday July 21 and on Wednesday, July 22 from 10 a.m to 12 noon. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 22 at 2 p.m. from St. Philip’s Anglican Church with interment to follow at St. Philip’s Anglican Cemetery.
