CDONALD, Sister Mary Vincent– Entered into eternal life at McAuley Convent, on March 17, 2011, Sister Mary Vincent McDonald, age 92 years. Predeceased by parents Maurice and Ellen (Reardon) McDonald and step-mother Sarah (Callahan Shelley) McDonald of Goose Cove, White Bay, Newfoundland, also combined family members, brothers and sisters: Genevieve, Mae, Patrick, William, Patrick, Pauline, Sarah, Marie, Angela, and Vincent Joseph. She will be fondly remembered by her Religious Congregation, the Sisters of Mercy; her sister Gertrude (Tony) Reardon and brother Vincent (Margaret) McDonald, many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Waking at McAuley Convent 250 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John’s on Saturday, March 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 21, 2011, 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish Church, Waterford Bridge Road with interment to follow at the Sisters of Mercy plot in Belvedere Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
