We, the family of the late Connie Fox who passed away July 8, 2009 would like to express our sincere thanks to all those that touched our lives during Connie's illness. Our thanks go to the staff of the Cancer Care Unit of the Regional Hospital, to Dr's D'Intino and Ritter of Palliative Care; to the nurses of the Palliative Care Unit; to the nurses of the V.O.N. in particular Ann and Stacey; to our neighbours and Connie's Aunts, cousins and friends for the meals, sweets and welcome visits. I won't mention them by name, but Dan and Bill always managed to provide much needed comic relief when retelling some of Connie's antics. Her endearing trait of being able to laugh at herself brought joy to many. I also thank T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel for their professionalism and much needed guidance and Fr. Errol MacDonald of Holy Redeemer Church. Finally, I would like to thank my sister-in-law Nora who put her family life in Buffalo on hold for 2 1/2 months to be with her sister and assist me in Connie's final days. I could not of made it without her.
