It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Franklynne Power on July 20, 2009, at her home in Mira, surrounded by loved ones.
Born March 31, 1948, in Sydney, Franklynne was the only daughter of the late Frank and Stephanie (Currie) Pledge.
Franklynne is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Jerome; sons, Frank (Cathy), Mira, Clayton (Glenda) Sydney; and her treasured dog, Katie.
In keeping with Franklynne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
Donations in Franklynne’s name can be made to the Canadian Red Cross.
