
Temple Carr
Temple Allen Carr of Hoyt, NB passed away at the White Rapids Manor on March 18, 2011 at the age of 95. Born in Lubec Maine on September 15, 1915, son of the late Lorne and Agnes (Foss) Carr. Temple was retired from the CPR, for 34 years he worked there as a Painter, Carpenter and a Bridgeman. Temple enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed his retirement, doing woodworking and camping with friends. Temple is survived by his loving wife (73 years), Frances Charlton, two sons; Leo (Judy) of Hoyt, Donald (Pansy) of Nackawic, one daughter, Cheryl Bruns (Greg) of Hanna, AB, one sister Nora Wilson (Bernard) of Martinon, NB. Brother-in-law Ron Bishop, two sisters-in-law; Ethel Carr and Amy Carr, special friend Darlene Carr and hunting buddy Bruce Rice. Five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Agnes (Foss) and Lorne Carr, infant son David four sisters; Isabell, Milda, Helen and Ruby ,four brothers; Stewart, Howard, Allen and Phillip.
Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home to pay respects on Monday, March 21, 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be from Sunbury Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 2pm with Rev. Jim Lewis officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Blissville Cemetery.
