Peacefully at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O'Leary, on Sunday, March 20, 2011, of Hazel Georgina Cole of O'Leary, aged 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Harold Cole. Born at Mill Road on May 21, 1912, she was the last surviving family member of the late John A. and Mysie (nee Murphy) Leard. She is survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by siblings: Caroline, Stella Mae, Claude, Forrest, William, Erwin, Lyford, and Donald. She was also predeceased by half brothers Arthur and Douglas Cornish. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Tuesday afternoon, March 22 from the O'Leary Church of the Nazarene, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment later in the Bloomfield United Church Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
