1910-2011, Moncton

Pauline M. Darrah, widow of C. Cecil Darrah (1978) occurred peacefully at Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Nursing Home, Moncton, N.B. on Friday, March 18, 2011. Born on November 27, 1910 in Kentville, N.S., she was the daughter of the late Frank E. Downey and Clara (Fielding) Downey. She has been a resident of Moncton since 1940.

She is survived by three daughters, Doris (Jim) Feltham of Charlottetown, Elaine (Bill) Cooper and Joyce (Joycelyn) Parsons (late Ted) of Moncton, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Berdie Darrah and nine nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Respecting her wishes, there will be a graveside service at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, 1167 Salisbury Rd., Moncton on Saturday April 2, 2011, 1:30 p.m., followed by a reception at Steeves Memorial United Church, 280 Salisbury Rd.

In her memory, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Huntington Society of Canada, the Alzheimer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
