Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, March 20, 2011, of Conception Bay South, formerly of Lamaline, age 91 years. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Dinah and infant son Maxie. Leaving to mourn with happy memories his wife of 67 years Lucy nee Pittman; daughter Daphne Hillier (Bob); sons: Donald (Paulette), Lloyd, Dale (Daphne), ten grandchildren: Andrea, Greg, Beverley, Karen, Christopher, Courtney, Matthew, Brittney, Jason and Stephen; eight great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Alexandra, Benjamin, Chloe, Joshua, Ryan, Jayden and Liam. Also nephews, nieces and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service in St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Upper Gullies on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at a later date in Lamaline.
