Grace Crawford 87 of Ottawa, Ont. passed away Friday, March 18, 2011 in the Ottawa Civic Hospital.
Formerly of Port Morien, she was born in North Sydney, the daughter of the late Wilson and Mary (Devison) MacDonald.
Mrs. Crawford was a member of the R.C.A.F. from 1939 to 1945. A graduate of the R.N.A. program at St. Vincent’s Hospital, she was recognized for her work with seniors.
She is survived by four sons, John (Margaret), with whom she resided, Barry (Linda), Shane (Lena), Shawn (Wendy), also survived by eight grandchildren; two sisters, Jessie Groves, Glace Bay, Alice Groves, Ontario and one sister-in-law, May MacDonald and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by brothers, Frank and Alex and sisters, Emma and Ann.
Cremation has taken place with committal service to be held at a later date in Black Brook Cemetery, Port Morien.
