Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at the Palliative Care Unit, Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Sunday, March 13, 2011, Maud Carter, aged 77 years. Maud was a long time employee at the Newfoundland School for the Deaf. Predeceased by her loving husband Bill; her daughter-in-law Delores Carter (nee Tapper) and her mother Daisy Burry. Left with fond and loving memories are her two sons: Lloyd and Eric (Sherry); also her precious granddaughters: Julia and Danika; daughter-in-law Cathy; as well as her special friend Heather LeShana. Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of Maud’s life at her residence on Saturday, March 26 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. for family and close friends.
