Passed away suddenly on March 21, 2011, Whitefield Stokes, aged 73 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 51 years Joan (Lewis); his children: Janet Head (Bob), Robert (Corina), Wanda Brown (Karl), Connie Dunnett (Hubert); nine grandchildren: Robyn, Heidi, Ashley, Amanda, Lesleigh, Nicole, Steven, Bradley and Alekzandria and five great-grandchildren; sisters: Lillian Clarke, Pearl Stagg, Winnie Winsor, Effie Burry; brother-in-law Robert Lewis (Theresa); as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Mt.
