IVANY, Dorothy P. (nee Whelan)– Passed peacefully away in the loving arms of her husband at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, October 24, 2008, age 71 years. Predeceased by her parents, Mary and Edward Whelan and special aunt Elizabeth Dunne. Leaving to mourn her husband Douglas; two sisters: Maureen Roche (Richard deceased) and Bernice Bemister (John); special nieces: Rhonda Alexander (Marvin), Janell Bemister and Linda Morris (Winston); special friend Donna Snelgrove; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Sunday and Monday from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, October 28 at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of the World Church, Topsail Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Arthritis Society, Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
