It is with great sadness that the family of the late ARTHUR PIKE of Bay L’Argent announces his passing at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander on Thursday March 17, 2011 at the age of 80. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Lugene; Son Fraser (Jacqueline) Pike of Hammond, ON; Daughter Michelle (Shawn) Eveleigh of Gander; Sister Lucy Courchesne of Mississauga, ON; Brothers Russell Pike of Bay L’Argent and Don (Phyllis) Pike of Baine Harbour; 3 Grandchildren Shane Eveleigh, Kyle Eveleigh and Robyn Pike; 1 Great-Grandchild Desiree Pike; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by his Parents Wallace & Stella Pike; Brother Freeman; and Sisters Rita & Margaret. Funeral Service took place on March 22, 2011 at 2:00pm from St. Hilda’s Anglican Church in Bay L’Argent. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery in Bay L’Argent. In Arthur’s memory, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or flowers gratefully accepted.
