John Perkins
It is with great sadness we announce the death of John Paul Perkins at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March, 22, 2011. He was the son of the late Rev. Gerald and Mary (Duncan) Perkins and the loving partner of Kimberly Pollock. John was employed at Trius Taxi for the last 7 years, he previously worked for standard taxi, sold cars and was a self employed trucker. He was very musical and enjoyed singing. He enjoyed life and loved being around people especially his grandchildren. He was always willing to lend a helping hand with anything, everyone knew John could fix anything. Survived by his partner, Kimberly, step son, Michael Skinner (Katrina); son Stephen Perkins (Lacy), special granddaughter Olivia, grandsons Cody and Raiden; sister Joy Long (Halarian); several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; one brother, Jimmy.
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held in the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 25th, 2011 at 3:00pm. Rev Harry Lewis will officiate. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation. www.mcadamfh.com
