Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of Eldon George, Parrsboro and the late Elaine (Allen) George. Besides his father, he is survived by a daughter, Amanda, New Salem; a son, Kevin, Parrsboro; his former wife, Denise Read, Parrsboro.
