MURRAY HIGGINS

MURRAY ALVIN HIGGINS passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2011 at his home in Chipman at the age of 90 years.
Murray is survived by his loving wife Ramona (Hasson) Higgins and their two daughters, Monica (Robert) Fulton of Gaspereau Forks and Trudy Cormier of Coal Creek.; three grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Harold and Pearl (McAllister) Higgins; by two brothers, Harold and Orville; three sisters, Myrna Colwell, Irene Barton and Valerie Bishop.
Murray served in the Second World War and was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 74 in Chipman. A Legion service will be held on Friday evening at 6:45 pm.
Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Saturday, March 26th, 2011 when funeral service will be held from the Chipman United Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Betty-Jean Friedman officiating. The family will receive visitors at Chipman Funeral Home (28 Northrup Drive), on Friday, March 25th, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials to the Chipman United Church or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Interment in Red Bank United Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be offered through www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca.
