It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dinah Gushue announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at the age of 73 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Edmund; eight children: Paul (Karen) of Irishtown, Wanda Walsh of Irishtown, Gary (Margaret) of Irishtown, David (Bernette) of Fort McMurray, Tony of Edmonton, Peter (Cindy) of Calgary, Regina (Tom) Rees of Alberta, Keith (Stephanie) of Edmonton; two brothers: Lonzo (Bride) Compton of Irishtown, Raymond (Ruth) Compton of Thompson, Manitoba; three sisters: Hazel (Ron) Greene of Irishtown, Ella Ellsworth of Thompson, Manitoba, Susie Compton of Irishtown and a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Brian Gushue. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, July 27th at 2:00 p.m. at the United Church, St. Clare Avenue, Stephenville with interment in the Roman Catholic Section, Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated.
