With great sadness we announce the death of Nettie Elizabeth Payne at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn, her five sons: Bob (Daisy), Alvin (Daphene), Albert (Norine), Harvey (Mary) and Clifford (Valerie); her sister, Hilda; her daughters-in-law: Diana (Ronnie) and Florence (Reg); her sisters-in-law: Lilly, Joan, Margaret (Max); her brother-in-law, Basil (Maxine); her 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mother was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin; special friend, Bill Nichols; son, Greavett; and brother, Gordon. She also leaves to mourn many other treasured family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Mary’s The Virgin Anglican Church in Cow Head, today, Friday, July 24th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., from where also the funeral service will take place on Sunday, July 26th, 2009 at 4:00 p.m., Rev.
