1929 ~ 2011 - The family of Mary Myles is sad to announce her sudden passing on March 24th, 2011 in Fredericton, NB. She was the daughter of the late Gladys (Cooper) Myles & T. Roy Myles of Nashwaaksis. Mary is survived by and greatly missed by her brother, Tom (Wendy) of Ottawa, niece Virginia Myles (Dan Artola), their children, Ryan & Eric of Montreal and niece Elizabeth Myles (Stephen Dinsmore) and their children Evan & Meghan, of Montreal. Mary specialized in early childhood education and taught in Montreal and New Brunswick schools for some 38 years. She was born and raised in Nashwaaksis, NB and was a graduate of Fredericton High School, NB Normal School and the University of London, UK on a Beaverbrook Teachers Scholarship. The family wishes to thank Dr. Srinivasan and the Doctors and staff of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for their kind and attentive care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church Restoration Fund, 224 York St., Fredericton, NB E3B 3P1 or charity of donor’s choice.
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will he held at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Sunday, March 27th, 2011 at 3:00 pm with Reception to follow. Rev. H. G. MacKenzie will officiate. On-line condolences may be made at www.mcadamsfh.com
