FORSYTHE, Leo Churchill - 70, of Kentville, formerly of White Rock, Kings County, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at home. Born in Wolfville, he was the son of the late Randolph and Vera (Carey) Forsythe. He had been employed as a carpenter in the Valley area until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and was a proud member of the Down East Classic Car Club. His greatest joys in life were his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Judy (Griffin); a daughter, Lynda (Jeff) Eastham, Upper Sackville; a daughter-in-law, Susan Forsythe, New Minas; grandchildren, Thomas, Connor, Hannah and Max. He was predeceased by a son, Scott; a daughter, Cathy; a sister, Joan. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There was no visitation, by family request. A graveside service was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 in the Starr’s Point Cemetery, Port Williams, Reverend Robyn Brown-Hewitt officiating.
