Passed away in Calgary Alberta on Saturday the 19th of March at the age of 43. Michael was born in Fredericton in 1968. He grew up in Oromocto and the Geary area until he left school at which time he moved to Ottawa where he lived and worked for several years before moving to Alberta. Michael leaves behind his best friend David Dapat of Calgary AB, his father and stepmother John and Nicole Harper of Fredericton NB, his sisters Jo-Ann Harper of Halifax NS and Edith Ford of Moncton NB, his brothers Peter Harper (Colleen) of CFB Borden ON and Bruce Harper (Rhonda) of Fredericton NB. Michael left behind several nieces and nephews including Megan, Jonathan, Corey, Chelsea, Alessa, Cody, and Kassidy. Michael was predeceased by his Mother Annegret Lohman of Qualicum Beach BC.
A Funeral mass will be held at St. Dunstans Roman Catholic church on Regent St., Fredericton NB, Saturday the 2nd of April 2011 at 1 pm with Father Gerry White presiding. There will be a reception held directly after the mass at The Knights of Columbus hall on Regent St.
