McNutt, Sharon Ann - Truro Heights - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of wife, mother and grandmother, Sharon Ann McNutt in her 66th year on July 23, 2009 at her home in Truro Heights. She passed peacefully after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Salmon River on June 29, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Laura (Crowell) MacPhee. Sharon was a dedicated employee of Stanfield’s Ltd. for over 43 years and a member of the Truro Heights United Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, a lover of animals and the best home made bread maker ever. Left with fond and loving memories is her husband of 49 years, Jack; daughters, Val (Philip), Shona (Peter), Jackie (Colleen); grandchildren, Tyler (Carla), Ashlea, Mychal, Danielle, Damian, Cassi, Faith; brothers, Donald, Percy, Alfred; sister, Bobbie and a large circle of extended family and friends. She was predeceased by brother, Gerald; sisters, Edna and Olive. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 26th from 7-9 pm; memorial service on Monday, July 27th at 2:00 pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Pastor Greg Porter officiating.
