The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Sunday, March 27, 2011 of Mildred Thelma MacKay of Parkdale and formerly of Morell, age 77 years.
Loving mother of Carol (Graham) Linton, Pearl (John) Sawyer, Gordon (Peggy), Clarence (Alice), Lester and Kent (Mary) MacKay. Grandmother to Robert, Gregory, Samantha, Hilary, Josh, Emma, Deborah, Kent, John, Adam, Jason, Christopher, Emma, Alexander, Sean, Brian, Katie and Melissa. Great-grandmother to Joshua, Alexander, Rhiannon, Joshua, Christopher and Misty. Sister of Louis (Edith) McEwen and Freeman (Grace) McEwen. Sister-in-law of Alice McEwen.
Predeceased by her parents, Bessie and Lester McEwen; daughter, Adele MacSwain; granddaughter, Tanya MacSwain; sisters Beth (Jack) Thompson and Louise (Leonard) Prior; and brother, Clarence McEwen.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Wednesday from Park Royal United Church at 10 a.m. Interment later in West St. Peters Cemetery.
