The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, July 24, 2009, of Larry O’Neill, veteran of the Second World War, of Andrews Lodge and formerly of Cumberland and Ottawa, age 90. He is survived by a niece, Mary Lou Lawson, in Ottawa and will be missed by his devoted caregiver, Louise Alchorn. Larry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lucille (Brunet). No visitation, by personal request. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Cornwall, on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Martin and St. Francis Cemetery, Cumberland.
