Passed peacefully away at the Bonavista Hospital on March 25, 2011, Jonathan (Don) Cole, age 76, from Champney's East. Predeceased by parents, Walter and Ethel Cole; step brothers, Robert and Gordon Cole; sister-in-law, Jane and grand-daughter, Rebecca Cole. Leaving to mourn are his wife, Betty; children, Peter (Eileen), Cathy (Bryce Barrett), Carol Stead (Harold Elliott), Eddy (Suzanne), Bev (Claude King) and Dave (Tracy); grandchildren, Katrina (Darryl), Margaret-Ann, Robert, Jamie, Justin (Nicole), Nick (Nicole), Josh (Roxanne), Megan; great grandchildren, Alexis, CJ, Jessica, Daniel; brothers, Doug, Ray (Marie); step- sisters, Cathy Cole, Susan Geoffrain; step sister-in-law, Colleen and many other relatives and friends. Rested at St. Clements Anglican Church, Champney's West from where the funeral service , officiated by Rev. John Gillam, took place on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, 2 pm with interment following at the Anglican Cemetery, Champney's East. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Champney's East Cemetery Fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy's Funeral Home, Random Island.
