Mr. Gordon Evans of McGregor Brook Rd, passed away on March 26, 2011 at the age of 85. He was the son of the late Wilson and Gladys (Wilcox) Evans. He is survived by his wife, Claire; his daughters: Linda Teakles (John) of Southfield, Debra Evans (Pierre Lapine) of ON, Dawn Evans of Milledgeville and Sharon Evans of Mt. Hebron; his son, Daniel Evans of Saint John; his stepdaughter, Mary Beth LeBlanc (Steven) of ON; his sister, Mary Webb (James) of Belmont; her sisters-in-law: Doris Evans of Saint John and Helen Evans of Saint John; 10 grandchildren; his great grandson; three step grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Gordon is predeceased by his first wife Patricia (Crandlemere) Evans; his sister, Beatrice Whiting and his brothers: Eldon and William.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm. A Celebration of Gordon’s life will take place from Trinity Anglican Church on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 2:00pm .
