HAYWARD, Bridget (nee Kennedy) (April 12th, 1919 - October 25th, 2008) — Passed peacefully away at the Glenbrook Lodge, Torbay Road on Saturday, October 25th, 2008 Bridget Hayward (nee Kennedy) in her 89th year. Predeceased by her sister Catherine (Kitty Nelder-Fowler), St. John’s; brother Allan Kennedy, Ajax, Ont. and nephews Gerry, Kevin and Jack. Leaving to mourn her nieces: Shirley Ryan (John), Isabelle Oliver (Bill), Betty Adams (Mike); nephew Randy Nelder (Christine) and Vera, Ruth and Ruby. Also leaving to mourn other family members of the Kennedy, Nelder and Greene families; special friend Margaret Collins and other friends at the Maplewood Place Apartments. A special thank-you to Dr. Vaughn Jackson, nurses and all the staff at Glenbrook Lodge for your special care over the past eight months. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, October 26th from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, October 27th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Tuesday, October 28th at 11 a.m. from Barrett’s Chapel.
