MARTINSON: Darryl Wayne Martinson passed away peacefully at Shaunavon Hospial & Care Centre on March 21, 2011 at the age of 72 years. He was born in Swift Current, SK. June 22, 1938 and grew up in Leinan and Swift Current. Darryn worked for the P.F.R.A. for 31 years and retired at the age of 56. He is survived by his two brothers Glenn (Kathy Thaxter) of Swift Current and Gary (Carol Ann) Martinson of Calgary, AB and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving parents Carl and Violet (nee: Johnson) Martinson of Swift Current and his only sister Carol Dalzell of Moose Jaw, SK. To honor his wishes there will be no formal funeral. The interment of his cremated remains will take place in the family plot in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current, at a later date. The family would like to thank Shaunavon Hospital and Care Centre for the loving care Darryl received.
