KEATING, William Augustine — Passed peacefully away at Kennedy’s Personal Care Home in Holyrood on October 25, 2008, William Keating, age 90 years. A lifelong resident of Conception Harbour, William spent his career as an employee of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. He was predeceased by his parents John and Norah Keating; brothers John Keating and Bernard Keating; sisters Helen Keating, Kathleen Keating, Mary Walsh, Clara Fowler, Anna Dicks and Agnes Giordano. Leaving to mourn his sister Gertrude Thomas of St. John’s, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Conway’s Funeral Home Conception Harbour, Monday Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral mass will follow at St. Anne’s Church, at 2 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimers Society.
