WARREN, Anna Geraldine “Kate” (Sweetapple) – Passed away suddenly at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, on July 14th, 2009, surrounded by her loving family, Kate Warren of Glovertown, aged 83 years. Predeceased by parents, Nelson and Winnifred Sweetapple, brother Robert Sweetapple, sister Maisie Sweetapple, sister-in-law Daisy Sweetapple, and nephew Alistair Sweetapple. Leaving to mourn with precious memories, husband of 65 years, Ralph Warren, son Ervin (Pat) Warren of Mount Pearl, daughters Genevieve (Frank) Squire of Eastport, and Norma (Fred) Borden of Conception Bay South. Also leaving to mourn their wonderful Nan, nine grandchildren: Darrell (Gail), April (David), Pierre (Isabelle), Amanda (Jamie), Craig (Jennifer), Neal (Amanda), Jennifer (Justin), Elliott Warren, and Christa Borden, also nine great-grandchildren: Parker Squire of Goose Bay; Rebekah, Hannah, Rachael, and Miriam McNeilly of Paris, France; Jessie and Sarah Ayles of Glovertown; and Samuel and Jacob Warren of Montreal. Also with many fond memories, two brothers Leonard (Geraldine) Sweetapple and Donald (Louise) Sweetapple, and one very special sister, Genevieve Perry, all of Glovertown. Also a very large circle of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. Funeral services took place on Friday, July 17th, 2009 at The Salvation Army Citadel, Glovertown, with interment following at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Glovertown. Donations on her behalf may be made to The Salvation Army, Glovertown. She was a very special lady who will be sorely missed, but will be forever in our hearts.
