(April 8, 1925 - July 25, 2009) — Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, July 25, 2009, Lillian Clarke of Brigus, aged 84 years. Predeceased by her Husband, George L. (Les), parents, Simeon & Emma Colbourne, sister Adelaide Spracklin, brother Rodrick Colbourne. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughter Evelyn Broughton (Ken), sons, Rick (Blanche) & Keith, grandchildren, Karen (Derrick Russell), Wayne Broughton (Goldie), Great Grandchildren, Abbigail Russell, Madison & Cole Broughton, sisters, Jennie Wells (Calvin Deceased), Myrtle Hatchard (Bob Deceased), brother, Stanford (Rita) sister-in-law, Ruby also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Sunday from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. and on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Broughton's Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Brigus.
