Hector George Leger of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, March 30th, 2011. Born in Moncton, on January 6th, 1925, he was the son of the late Frank and Inez (McCrea) Leger. Hector will be deeply missed by daughters Donna Keenan (Norman), Jane Leger (Danny O'Neill), sisters; Annie, Roberta, Marjorie, Irene, and Vivian, a brother Bill, grandchildren; Christopher and Natasha, great grandchildren Tanner, Thomas, Nerrell "Nunie" and Jasmine as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Hector was predeceased by his brother Francis.
Visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, April 1st, from 1 to 2pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Hector may be made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital, Geriatrics Ward.
