Peacefully at the Beach Grove Home on Monday, July 27, 2009, of Mrs. Pat Murphy of Charlottetown, age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late James Murphy. Pat is also fondly remembered by her sisters Katherine Roach, Pauline (John) McLellan, Dottie (George “Butch”) Ward, brother-in-law Archie Bristol, sister-in-law Shirley Flanagan and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Barbara Flanagan, Joan Flanagan, Eileen Flanagan, Reggie (Bella) Flanagan, Thomas “Teddy” (Doris) Flanagan, Jack (Lorraine) Flanagan, Jim (Shirley) Flanagan, George (Ruth) Flanagan, Gracie Bristol, Dennis Flanagan and Gail (Leonard) MacCormack. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 1:45 on Thursday afternoon, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I.
