MYLES, Joseph – November 5, 1923 – March 30, 2011. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Myles of St. Bernard’s announces his passing at Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Wednesday March 30, 2011 at the age of 88. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Mary of 67 years; sons: Rudolph (Doreen), Joseph Jr. (Sharon), Austin (Mary), Tony (Cathy), James (Jackie), Carl (Trudy), and Eugene (Sherry); daughters: Margaret Hynes, Marcella (James) Synard, Maxine Myles, Elizabeth (Glen) Benson, and Nina Myles; sister Angela Parrott; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by son-in-law Augustine. Resting and visitation to take place from Sacred Heart RC Church in St. Bernards on Thursday March 31st from 7 pm – 9 pm; and Friday April 1st all day, where Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday April 2, 2011 at 2:30 pm. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Bernards. In Joseph’s memory, donations may be made to Sacred Heart RC Church or the Lung Association or flowers gratefully accepted.
