TUCKER, Leonard (Len) – It is with saddened and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Leonard (Len) Tucker of Portugal Cove, on Sunday, October 26, 2008, age 53 years. Predeceased by his father Don Tucker (1999), brothers-in-law Ed Baird (2006), John Pittman (2008) and Jim Brooks (1998). Leaving to mourn son Lenny and his mother Frances (Pittman), mother Millie Tucker, sisters Linda Baird (Ford Philips), Margie Tucker (Wade White), brother Rod (Jo Ann and Janine), family friend Jack Dinn, special nephew Jamie Price, niece Sherry Price (Brady), sisters-in-law Rosemary Brooks, Connie Pittman, brothers-in-law Gerry Harris (Claudia and Little Gerry), Calvin Pittman (Sharon), Wally Pittman and Mac Pittman, also a very special friend Otilia Borges and her children Victor (Paula) Borges, Tino (Gen) Borges, and Miguel (Pam) Borges, and a large circle of relatives and friends, especially his Marine Atlantic Friends and Co-workers who will miss him dearly. Resting at Carnell\'s Funeral Home, Freshwater Road on Tuesday October 28 from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday October 29 and 30 from 2 to 9 p.m. and Friday, October 31 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Cremation will take place Thursday after 9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 31. Interment to follow at St. Philip’s Anglican Church Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation in his memory may be made to St. Lawrence Anglican Church, Portugal Cove.
