Peacefully, at Huronia District Hospital, Midland, Sunday, July 26, 2009, Arnold M. Gratton, of Elim Homes, Waubaushene, formerly of Grand Bend, age 97. Beloved husband of Muriel Isabella (Heels) Gratton and the late Anna Love (Taylor) Gratton (1970). Loved father of Donald and Anita Gratton of Grand Bend, Glen and Lesley Gratton of Victoria, BC and Sharon Gratton of Calgary, AB. Lovingly remembered by his grandsons Robert (Ramona) Gratton, David (Dana) Gratton and great-grandchildren Victoria, Alexandra, Avrill and Drew. Dear brother of Trellis Taylor of Grand Bend and brother-in-law of Olive Gratton of Florida and Edward (Dawn) Heels of Midland. Remembered also by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his brother Gerald Gratton, sister Phyllis Kember, parents Ferdinand and Caroline (Wolfe) Gratton. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Wednesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Gospel Hall, Grand Bend, Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 1 p.m. Mr. Noel Burden officiating.
