It is with great sadness we announce the death of Marjorie Annabelle Williams , 94, of Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of Maple Street, Stellarton, on Monday, July 27, 2009 at the Villa.
Born in Halfway Cove, she was a daughter of the late William and Anora (Greencorn) George. Marjorie was a resident of the Villa for the past 2 years , before which, she lived in New Glasgow for some 45 years. Marjorie was a retired employee of the Aberdeen Hospital. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Halfway Cove.
Marjorie is survived by sons, Clayton (Sheila) Williams, ON; Calvin (Sherry) Williams, Westville; grandchildren, Connie and Doug of Westville; Barry and Marie, Leanne and Joe, Shannon and Michael, David and Tammy, all of Ontario. Greatgrandchildren Crystal, Joey, Jordan, Adam, Jacob, Sydney, Zackery, Chase, Dylan and Ryan. The great great-grandchildren were very special to Marge: Summer Lawrence and Leland Kontuk; brothers, Floyd (Helen) Lower South River; A sister, Beatrice Holmes, Ottawa.
She was predeceased by daughter, Victoria Williams; her first husband, Havelock Williams, her second husband, Alex Lays and a grandson, Joshua; brothers, Clayton, Allister, William and John; sisters, Della McGirr and Mildred Carroll.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. A family graveside service will be held at St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Halfway Cove.
Donations in memory of Marjorie may be made to the Valley View Villa bus fund. Arrangements are under the direction of the H.C.MacQuarrie Funeral Home.
